This week when you’re outside pick up a few items to make an all natural nature mobile. They are great to hang in kids rooms, playrooms or even your sitting room. It’s a great way to bring the outside in on these colder days.
Items such as colorful fall leaves, pine cones, acorns, feathers, twigs with berries and even rocks are a great start. Once you collect all your items you’ll need to get a few simple branches that you’ll tie together in the middle. You’ll want colorful yarn or fishing wire, depending on the look you’re going for (or what’s handy around the house) to tie all the items to your sticks. We have some felt birds that a few friends made for us so we used those on our mobile.
